What’s Changing?

  • Only users set up as Gateway Administrators can log in to Gateway. Lender Users with Regular access levels who log in to Gateway will not be able to do so after the update.
  • Lenders can start applications in Ventures and send them to Applicants to fill out.
  • Data on the application flows through to Ventures to review.
  • Document mapping between Gateway and Ventures is done in the Ventures administration section (this feature was released earlier and has been in place for a while).
  • Submitted documents can be accepted or rejected in Ventures.
  • Additional documents can be requested in Ventures.
  • Referral codes and links to Gateway applications are generated in Ventures now.
  • Application statuses in Gateway are controlled through Ventures.
  • Lenders can send/receive/reply to messages in Ventures.

What’s not Changing?

  • Gateway Application Forms and steps are still built in Gateway.
  • Third Parties need to be added in Gateway as they have always been added. They will then appear as options in Ventures.
  • Loan products in Gateway still need to be mapped to Ventures Loan Products using the Gateway interface. You can do this if Loan Product is set as a field in the application. It can also be mapped in Ventures -> Administration -> External Sync menu by a Ventures site administrator.
  • Customizing Gateway sites including welcome text, instructions, color schemes etc. is still carried out in Gateway.
  • Email templates are still set in Gateway.
  • Setting up Credit pull services is still set up through Gateway.
  • Applicants will register, log in, complete applications, submit documents and send/receive/reply to messages in Gateway as they always have.
