This article describes ways to exchange data with Ventures.

Reading Data

Data can be exported from Ventures in a variety of ways.

1. API - A flexible API to exchange data. Click here for more information.
2. Excel and CSV export - All grids in Ventures support export functions for dynamic export.
3. Custom Reports - Custom reports can be created and run on-demand for list style exports of almost every data point in Ventures.
4. API + Custom Reports - Custom reports can also be run via the Ventures API for custom data extracts.

Support Guide

Please use this guide to submit API issues to the VLT team.  We cannot investigate issues unless all of this information is provided.

How to Submit Support Issues

If you are using v4 of the API please provide these basic call details

1. URL: What URL are you calling?
2. What request parameters are you passing to the API (Query String, JSON request body)?
3. What was the response from the API? Please provide the entire JSON response.
4. Optionally, Provide a Postman File - please create a full postman request that demonstrates the call.  Export this request and send to the Ventures team following these instructions.
