This article is to show which fields within Administration > User Access > Permissions are associated with Payments, and what actions and areas the fields will effect.

 

*** IMPORTANT - All users will have access to see and edit the Payments tab within a loan and the main menu Payments tab once the loan is in Funded Status IF permission settings have not been set ***
 

Location and Fields of Payments Permission Settings:
There are two tabs with fields associated to Payments within the Permission Settings- Menu Item tab and Action tab. 

 

There are two sections within the Menu Item tab that have fields associated to Payments:

      1. Menu Item > Main Menu > Payments field 
      2. Menu Item > Payments > Actions Menu, Month End, Settings, and Utilities fields

 

 

There is one section within the Action tab that have fields associated to Payments:
      1. Action > Payments > Board Loan, Enter Transactions, and Delete All Account Data

 

What is affected by Payments Permission Settings fields:
Menu Item > Main Menu > Payments > Enabled 
       1. Main Menu Payments Tab and accessible
       2. Payments Tab accessible within Loan

Menu Item > Main Menu > Payments > Disabled
       1. Main Menu Payments Tab not visible 
       2. Payments Tab not visible within a loan

 

Menu Item > Payments > Actions Menu
       1. Enabled > Can view Actions Menu tab and perform actions
       2. Disabled > Cannot view Actions Menu or perform actions

 

 

Menu Item > Payments > Month End
       1. Enabled > Can view Month End tab and perform actions
       2. Disabled > Cannot view Month End tab or perform actions

Menu Item > Payments > Utilities 
       1. Enabled > Can view Utilities tab and perform actions
       2. Disabled > Cannot view Utilities tab or perform actions

Menu Item > Payments > Settings
       1. Enabled > Can view Settings tab and perform actions
       2. Disabled > Cannot view Settings tab or perform actions

 

Action > Payments > Board Loan 
       1. Enabled > Can board a payment account within a loan
       2. Disabled > Cannot board a payment account within a loan

 

Action > Payments > Delete All Account Data
       1. Enabled > Can delete out boarded payment account and history within a loan in Loan Details
       2. Disabled > Cannot delete out boarded payment account and history within a loan in Loan Details

Action > Payments > Enter Transactions
      1. Enabled > Can post payments within a loan and within main menu Payments tab > Loans
      2. Disabled > post payments within a loan and within main menu Payments tab > Loans
