The ACH Exceptions Report

Click here to return to the NACHA hub page.

We have created a report to help you find loans boarded in payments, that are either:

a) Missing information that they would need for ACH processes

b) Are in a status or sub-status where the ACH Active option should be turned off as they no longer need to be active, but are still listed as active. For example loans with sub-statuses you may have created like In Liquidation, Paid Off or Charged Off.

The report is called the ACH Exceptions Report. To access the report:

  • Mouse over Data in the menu at the top of the screen
  • When the Data menu sub-options load, click Reports
  • On the reports page use the search bar to search for ACH Exceptions Report.
  • Click the name of the report to run it.

  • The results will display a list of loans that are boarded in payments, that are either missing information or warrant investigation.

  • In our example we can see one loan listed as paid off. Click on the Loan Log number to access the loan and navigate to the Payments -> Billing page and uncheck the ACH Active check box for the loan.
  • We can also see several loans that do not have an ACH Start Date listed.
  • There is one that does that do not have a routing number.
  • The same loan is missing an account number.
  • Some that are missing their account type.

This information needs to be filled in for the ACH processes to run correctly.

  • Click on the loan log of each loan with missing information, then navigate to the Payments -> Billing page and fill in the missing information.
  • Remember to click save after making any changes.
