Assigning an ACH Batch, Setting the ACH to Active, Setting the Start Date and Billing Method

To assign an ACH batch to a loan, indicate that it is active, set the start date and billing method, the loan needs to be boarded in Payments.

In a loan that is boarded in Payments:

 

  • Click Payments in the overview menu of the loan. A submenu will appear
  • In the submenu, click on Billing. The billing page for the loan will load.

 

 

 

The “Borrower Bank Account (ACH)” section on the billing page contains the fields for you to set up ACH information.

 

  • Fill in the bank account information for the borrower. This includes selecting the Bank, entering their Account number, Account Type, Account Name and any Discretionary Data you want to include.

 

To set the ACH status to Active:

 

  • Fill in the check box labeled “ACH Active”

 

To Assign an ACH Batch:

 

  • Scroll down to the “Borrower Bank Account (ACH)” section. Locate the field labeled “ACH Batch”
  • Use the “ACH Batch” field to select the ACH batch you wish to assign the loan to.
  • Click Save

 

To set the Start Date and Billing Method:

 

  • Set the date of the first ACH Payment in the “ACH Start Date” field. 
  • Use the “ACH Billing Method” field to set the billing method. You can select from “Regular Payment” and “Total Amount Due” in the dropdown menu.  When a NACHA export is created the transaction amount is determined by this setting.  If “not set”, the default is Total Amount Due.

 

When you finish filling in all the information you need to, review what you have entered, then click save.
