Creating your Ventures Account

  • You will receive an email invitation to create your account in Ventures. Check your spam and junk folders if you do not see it. The link in the email will expire. Your site administrator can resend the activation email to you if needed.

 

  • When you find the email, click it to open it. Click the link labeled "here" to complete your account creating process.

  • The link will load the password creation page. Create your password. Your password must be at least 8 characters long and must include the following: 
    • A lower-case character (a-z)
    • An upper-case character (A-Z)
    • A numeric character (0-9)
    • A special character (e.g. @#$%^&*()_+|~-=\`{}[]:"; '<>/ etc.)

 

  • Click Change Password

 

 

  • Next you will be prompted to set up two factor authentication. You can choose between Text Message or Email. We recommend using the text message option as it helps avoid situations where authentication may emails end up in spam or junk folders. 
  • Click Setup next to the option you wish to use. For our example we will choose Text Message, but the steps are the same if you choose email.

 

 

  • Enter your phone number or email address depending on which option you chose above. Then click Send Code.

 

 

  • The system will send a confirmation code to the number or email address provided. Enter the code in the code field and click Verify Code.

 

 

  • The page will update and you will be logged in. You will see your factor authentication settings. Click Home to navigate to your Ventures home page.
