SBA Lenders - New Blanket Lien Collateral Type
We added the new Blanket Lien collateral type from CAFS into Ventures. Click here for an article covering how to add Blanket Lien Collateral Types. You can map Collateral Types in Ventures using the SBA Collateral Type dropdown in Administration > Reference > Collateral > Collateral Types.
When the collateral is mapped to that SBA Collateral Type, more fields will be displayed on the Lien Recording tab and be sent to ETRAN. It will then be merged to the Terms & Conditions.
504 SBA Lenders - Annual Jobs Report has updated filtering
After discussions with NADCO, we have made a few changes to capture which records will appear in the SBA Annual Jobs Report. Please review our KB SBA 504 Annual Jobs Report Guide and FAQ for a refresher on the report.
What has been added:
1. Debenture Repurchased Date - When generating the report, it will include a record IF there is a Debenture Repurchased date after the Year End Fiscal Date entered by user. It would leave out a record that had a date before Year End Fiscal Date entered.
2. State is no longer a required field before generating the report. If the field is left blank, then all states will be included in returning results.
What has been removed:
1. Liquidated Date filter - the report will no longer look at this date to include/exclude records.
2. Charged Off Date filter - the report will no longer look at this date to include/exclude records.
3. Substatus “SBA Serviced” filter - the report will no longer look at this Substatus to include/exclude records.
504 SBA Lenders - *Required* Certification added for submissions
In order to align with required ETRAN certifications, Ventures has added a new certification that needs to be answered when submitting applications. This certification matches the new certification found in the Eligibility section in an ETRAN 504 application: CDC Agreements and Certifications has been signed by the CDC Official.
Ventures/BMI Document Storage users - Assigning Entity and/or Contacts
In Documents > Store, users can now assign both an entity and contact with Document Types that have a Related Entity set to Entity/Contact in Administration. Previously, users could only assign an entity or a contact on a document upload into document storage with this setting. The field has been broken out into two separate lines, where before it was one.
FlashSpread Users - Period details added to Bulk Import view
In Utilities > Other Imports > Financial Statments, you can now expand a row to show columns below for each period created/updated from the imported document. For a refresher on Flashspread Bulk Imports, read KB FlashSpread Bulk Import.

Generating Payment Histories in Bulk
You can now enable your custom templates that use a Payments Transaction Sub Template for use in Bulk Letters. This means you can generate pay histories in bulk for your payment accounts to email or mail out! Previously, you could only generate within a loan record.
Bulk Letters parameters added - Boarded in Payments and Payment Past Due
Boarded in Payments is available as a new bulk merge parameter that can be added to your custom web template. This parameter will merge criteria based on if the loan record has a boarded payment account.
Payment Past Due - This parameter will merge criteria based on a range of days for # of Days Past Due when generating emails/letters in bulk. You could use this feature to email out late payment notices to borrowers based off a number of days past due.
Next Payment Due filter update
Options have been added to the Next Payment Due filter for due on the 1st, 7th, 15th, 30/last day of the current calendar month. Previously, the only options were due on the following month.
