System Log

The System Log is a log of every action performed by every user in the system. You have to be a site Administrator to access the system log.

  • Click on Administration in the menu at the top of the screen.
  • Click System Log in the menu on the left.

 

  • You can use the filter dropdown menus to filter the log table to look for specific type of action, actions performed by a specific user, or you can use the search bar.

 

 

  • Each column has a funnel icon on it. These can be used to filter the columns specifically. For example, if you click on the filter icon for the added on column, you can set a filter to show you actions on a specific date, or range of dates.

 

 

You can export the view of the table you are seeing using the gear wheel icon.

  • Click the gear wheel icon then choose if you want to export a PDF or an excel file.

 

 

  • When you make your choice, the system will display a popup displaying how many rows it will export. You can use the filters to narrow the results in the log down to export only what you need to. Ensure the number of rows you see in the pop up is correct. Click export.

 

 

  • The export file will generate and download, or it may ask you where you want to save the file based on your settings.
