Adding an Organization

Organizations names are visible on all loans on their General > General tab. Site Administrators can add new organizations to your Ventures site.

Your organization will already be set up and set as the default as part of your Ventures implementation process.

Your site administrator should enter other organizations you work with.

To add a new organization:

  • Click on Administration in the menu at the top of the page.
  • By default, the Administration section loads to the Organizations menu option. If it does not, select Organizations in the menu on the left.
  • Click the Add button, the add organization pop-up will appear.

 

  • Type in the name of the organization in the Company field.
    • If you have entered them as a company in the Company section of Ventures, their name will appear in the dropdown menu, click it to select it.
    • If they do not exist as a Company in your system, click the Add New option in the dropdown menu. The pop-up will change. Fill out the pop-up to add the company and click save. Once you do, the pop-up will disappear and you will return to the Add Organization pop-up. The company you created will be filled in the Company field.
  • Leave the Default Organization option unchecked. This option should only be enabled for one organization, the one you work for.
  • Ensure the active checkbox is marked. If it is not, the organization will not be usable.
  • Fill out the Contacts section if relevant.

 

 

  • Click the Fees Tab and enter the fees the organization charges. You can specify:
    • The SBA Guarantee Fee %
    • Funding Fee %
    • Processing Fee %
    • CDC Closing Fee
    • Portfolio Job ratio
    • Other out of pocket closing costs
    • Underwriter Fees - 10 Year (504)
    • Underwriter Fees - 20 Year (504)
    • Underwriter Fees - 25 Year (504)
    • Servicing Fees – SBA Fee (504)
    • Servicing Fees – SBA Fee (504) Debt refinance without expansion
    • Servicing Fees – CDC Fee (504)
    • Servicing Fees – Lender Fee (7A)
    • Servicing Fees – CSA Fee

 

 

  • Click the Document Settings Tab.
  • Fill out information regarding the SBA form 1244 if relevant.
  • Fill out the information regarding IVES information to be used for 4506-C requests for tax transcripts if applicable.
  • In the Document and Form Generation section, select a logo using the “Change Logo” field if you would like to include the organizations logo in forms or documents you may generate.
  • Click Save.

 

The pop-up will disappear and you should see the organization you just created in the table on the Organizations page.
