Beginning Thursday, August 18, 2022, SBA's ETRAN system will only accept Headquarters Location IDs for Third Party and Interim Lenders.
There are currently no changes made to Ventures or the Ventures interface. This change should only impact new loans and should not have any impact on existing approved/funded loans. Lenders will need to validate any new loans being submitted to SBA to ensure they are sending the correct HQ Location ID.
Refer to the KB article labeled Finding the Lender Location ID for steps on how to lookup the Location ID from Ventures.
The CSA communication dated 8/17/2022 refers to steps on how to perform the Location Lookup function within the ETRAN platform and are listed below for reference and convenience.
· Log into CAFS
· Loans drop-down è Electronic Lending – Origination
· Search for your Application
· In the Third Party Lender section click the “Lookup” button under “Partner Info”
· Utilize the pop-up interface’s lookup options (e.g., Partner Name, Partner Location)
· Select the correct HQ Location ID from search results
Note: non-HQ Location IDs will no longer appear in search results”

NEW: 504 Lenders - SBA Form 1244 OMB Control No.: 3245-0071 (Expiration Date 12/21/2024)
- The SBA Form 1244 - 508 compliant fillable PDF form is now available within Ventures. The form will continue to merge as expected based on the data input when generated within the system.
